We invite you in from the cold, wind, rain and general flooding situation to join us for a pint. Actually no, to join us for innovative performance, poetry and a pint. SLAPyork is bringing art to your local, its bringing dance, theatre, spoken word and all you would ever need from your Friday night to your favourite place, the pub.

SLAP (Salacious Alternative Live Performance) is a live performance event offering a left-field alternative to the city of York’s current cultural offering. Brought together by Time Out magazine cover star dance duo 70/30 Split (Sophie Unwin and Lydia Cottrell), theatre company director/musician Matthew Baker and writer/musician Pete Wise, the second helping of SLAP is set to take place on Friday 28thth Febuary at The Golden Ball pub, York.
