Trigger warnings will be in the event discussion nearer the event time, and will be repeated on the night.

We have the DJ Jessica Wynn for after the performances too! We will be selling crafts and a new Queer Space zine for charity, and we will also have some great local queer businesses selling on our little stall (TBC)

We will be taking donations on the door to fundraise for a local non-profit organisation and York QWGG but there is no set amount that people have to give as we want to make the event as accessible as possible for people on low/no income so don't feel pressured to give more than you are able.

Look out for Queer Space craft and zine workshops on the York Queer Women & Gender Group - QWGG page!

Accessibility- Fulford Arms is all on the ground floor. We'll set as many chairs as possible out also :) Wheelchair information from the venue: 'the Fulford Arms do have a ramp for the front door - this isn’t the usual door for entry for events but a member of staff can open this if required. The toilets have a grab rail in them but aren’t fully disabled access friendly, it depends on the size of any wheelchair and we usually recommend people have a look in advance. They have been used by wheelchairs but the ladies has a turn in it that could be tight for a larger wheelchair.'

Decorations- please respect our decorations. Our group and committee work hard on our decorations so please do not pull them down, destroy them or damage them. Anyone caught doing these things on purpose will be asked to leave. Respect other people’s art!

How to get to the Fulford Arms? It is a half an hour walk from the station, about 15-20minutes from York City Centre, 15-20 minutes from University of York or about half an hour walk from York St John. There is a number 7 bus that goes from York city centre or the station which stops right outside the Fulford Arms- this runs until about 8pm. The 415 also goes from town regularly to the Fulford Arms and runs until just before midnight from just outside the Fulford Arms to town. There is the 66 bus from the station, town and University of York where you can get off at the end of Heslington Road (town end- Willis Street stop) and walk from there which takes about 10minutes to the Fulford Arms. The 66 bus runs through the night so is still running at the time the night ends if you wish to get it back to town, the station or the University of York.
