About the work:

Gods Own Country (Albion) is a flailing mess of misdirected rage with its ankle firmly caught in the cattle grid of political jeopardy. Masculine intimacy and insecurity collide with a ham fisted urge to “just do” regardless of consequence. White albamal is smothered over my sweaty pink nipples. The choir boys sing a ghost song on repeat and you get a free Pimms if you stay long enough.

About the artist:

Ben Mills is a dyslexic baker from Yorkshire. He performs weekly ritualised group performances that explore the immediacy of corporeal experience by testing the limits of the physical body. these experiences are distilled and presented to audiences through the lense of art.
